Founded in 1988, Westan opened its doors as an exclusive distributor of Western Digital Hard Disk Drives in Melbourne, Victoria. Since then, Westan has become a leading provider in emerging technologies & has grown to become one of Australia’s premier national distributors with sales & warehousing sites across multiple locations in Australia. Westan represents some household names such as Samsung, Epson & Benq, others in more niche areas such as Usher Audio in high end Speakers and Dialogic in Multimedia Signaling technologies.
In 2008, Westan has evolved from a broad-based distributor IT peripheral distributor to a focused distributor of Consumer-Electronics, Audio-Visual & Multimedia Signaling Technologies whilst retaining some IT products.
